Jorge Satorre (Mexico City, 1979), Jorge Satorre holds a degree in Graphic Communication by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Azc, Mexico City. His solo shows include: Jorge Satorre: Pancha, the Colorful Bird and the Shining Snake, REDCAT, Los Angeles (2018), Los animales muertos, Museo Tamayo, Mexico City (2017), Boundary Objects, Kunsthaus Dresden, Dresden (2015), The indirect gaze, Le Grand Café, St, Nazare (2010). He has participated in such group exhibitions as: Zigzag Incisions, CRAC Alsace, Altkirch (2017), Poéticas del decrecimiento ¿Cómo vivir mejor con menos?, 12th Femsa Biennale, Monterrey (2016), Ce qui ne sert pas s’oublie, Musée d’art contemporain de Bordeaux, Bordeaux (2015), Ir Para Volver, 12th Cuenca Biennale, Cuenca (2014), 1st Montevideo, Montevideo (2012), Prairies, Les Ateliers de Rennes. Rennes, France (2012). He was recipient of the grant Bolsa Marcelino Botín (2010-11) and participated in the residency Le Pavillon at Palais de Tokyo in 2007/2008.
